The Connecticut Teachers' Retirement System, or CTRS, is the defined-benefit pension plan for Connecticut public school teachers and administrators in the state of Connecticut. The plan provides an income in retirement based on the years of service of a teacher or administrator and a retirement factor that is determined by CTRS.
